Terrain is family-owned. We've been preparing sites across the Pacific Northwest for eighteen years, with a team built from surveyors, engineers and operators who chose this work deliberately. We don't pour concrete, we don't frame, we don't landscape. We do site preparation, and only that.
Principles
Specifics over slogans.
If a number can be measured, we publish it. Tolerance, tonnes, hours, days. If it can't, we don't write it on the website.
Direct labour, not subcontracted.
Every machine on your site is a Terrain machine, operated by a Terrain operator. Responsibility doesn't move when something goes wrong.
The next trade is our customer.
The concrete crew, the framer, the landscaper — they receive the surface we leave. We grade for them.
Quiet on site, on time at the gate.
Most of our work is done before the neighbours notice we're there. That's the metric we hold ourselves to.
The Team

The person who walks your site is the person who runs the project — and often the one in the cab on day one. There's no account-management layer between you and the work.

Safety
Quiet, methodical, non-negotiable.
Safety isn't a marketing surface. We're licensed, bonded and insured, hold a current OR-OSHA record with zero notifiable incidents in the last eight years, and run daily toolbox briefings on every active site. Documentation is available on request from project clients and consulting engineers.
